John Lowery was born on the 31st of July, I don't know the year. He started playing guitar at the age of 6. His biggest influence was Kiss, as well as Jimmy Hendrix, The Beatles, and Eddie Van Halen.
John has worked with many bands, including Ozzy Osbourne, Wilson Philips and David Lee Roth. He started a band called Red Square Black with Randy Castillo, drummer of Ozzy Osbourne. Red Black Square broke up because John was selected from 2000 guitarists to play with K. D. Lang on tour, so he cancelled the Red Black Square tour, and Randy returned to Ozzy.
He got tagged John 5 because he is the 5th Marilyn Manson guitarist, and in my opinion, despite the disapproval of my best friend John Yon, the BEST Marilyn Manson guitarist.
He practices for 5 hours a day, even while on tour! He enjoys metal, blues, country, and jazz.
